How to Deal with Unforgiveness

Matthew 6:9-15

9 "This, then, is how you should pray:
   " 'Our Father in heaven,
   hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come,
   your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 Forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one. 14 For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Scripture clearly teaches that we are to forgive those who hurt us. So let's identify practical ways to confront the matter of unforgiveness head-on. You may want to keep this list in your Bible or close by for easy review.

1. Take it seriously. Unforgiveness is a major issue that shouldn't be casually dismissed.

2. Assume full responsibility. Don't blame anyone else for your feelings and actions.

3. Confess it honestly. Be specific and direct with God about what you feel, and acknowledge that unforgiveness is sin. Don't "soften" the matter or let yourself off the hook (don't pretend it's no big deal to remain in unforgiveness).

4. Lay down your anger. Unless you deal with your resentment, bitterness can re-enter your life later on.

5. Pray for the other person. This may feel impossible and unnatural, but do it anyway. Praying is a choice to act lovingly, regardless of how you are treated. This will impact your entire relationship.

6. Ask that individual to forgive you. If the other person knows that you've been harboring bitterness, you need to ask for his or her forgiveness.

7. Do something nice for that person. Let a loving gesture demonstrate your desire to restore the relationship.

8. Don't allow Satan to throw you back into unforgiveness. Once the matter is resolved, watch out for stray thoughts that could stir up memories of how the other person hurt you.

This process isn't easy, but it works. If you go through these steps every time you are hurt, God will truly work miracles in your relationships.

Testimony and a word to share with you.

There is a verse the Lord gave me many times through His servants. First through one friend who is with Him now when I wrote this to Him:

Father God, I call to You,
Listen to my troubled mind
Consider my pain and sorrow.

You are my God, my everything.
You are there in every circumstance.
You hear me even when I do not hear You.

I await your answers and wisdom.
I will be nowhere without You.
Draw me closer, draw nearer to me.

Give me understanding and discernment.
Calm my anxious head, forgive my worries.
Help me to trust you more and fully.

Can I call a friend and get peace?
No, only from you can I find relief.
I find rest only in You.

You will take vengeance upon the enemy,
For they have done much to cause trouble,
They wish to ruin your plan, so they cast stones.

The enemy will not win, because your strength is greater,
Nothing can overpower You, you will raise me up,
You will feed me with your strength and sound mind.

Through You I will succeed and find the solution.
This stone from the enemy will crumble beneath my feet,
As your power flows through me, and restores my soul.

Lead me through this storm, and bring me out a warrior.
Rise me up from your mercies and power and use me by your will.
Send your Holy Spirit, and refresh me and train me in this fire.

You will, I know, praise You Lord!
Nothing compares to You and I will grow strong;
As You remain, I will succeed by your hand.

Thank You Lord for not leaving me.
Praise You for your mercy and grace.
Your kindness and love never cease.

Nothing I can write can truly describe You.
Thanks for being here with me in my troubles.
There is none like You.

Then He gave it to me again through another friend who has a good heart for reaching the poor and lost for Him. Here is what He gave me:

Lamentations 3:24-33

24 I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance;
therefore, I will hope in him!”

25 The Lord is good to those who depend on him,
to those who search for him.
26 So it is good to wait quietly
for salvation from the Lord.
27 And it is good for people to submit at an early age
to the yoke of his discipline:

28 Let them sit alone in silence
beneath the Lord’s demands.
29 Let them lie face down in the dust,
for there may be hope at last.
30 Let them turn the other cheek to those who strike them
and accept the insults of their enemies.

31 For no one is abandoned
by the Lord forever.
32 Though he brings grief, he also shows compassion
because of the greatness of his unfailing love.
33 For he does not enjoy hurting people
or causing them sorrow.

Recently the Lord had me read Exodus 3:1-14 and the Lord reminded me to look at the verses in Lamentations that day through there. The last time God had me look at those verses in Lamentations, He notified me that I will do work in missions, it seems it is short-term missions. It came on my heart to study Thai and Chinese.. That day I heard it very clearly that I must learn Thai language and prepare for missions. I can tell you these verses in Lamentations the Lord has proven to me in my experiences He does not abandon, and though I had walked through the valley of the shadow of death, God anoints me and I am receiving His blessings abundantly, even that I receive rest and eat in the presence of the enemy, because He is with me. God has shown me great mercy. Because of His unfailing love I have seen much change over the past few weeks. Great things I have seen for all the time I have been waiting on Him and obeying Him. It truly is good to submit to Him. The Lord is faithful and loves His children, and rewards those who seek Him (Hebrews 11:5-7)

Therefore I must obey the Lord and learn the Thai language and prepare for missions now.

I can tell you God is doing great things in Thailand. He is bringing His people back to Him. The Lord is sending more workers and many Thai people are coming to Jesus. He will harvest His people for His glory. Many Thai people are coming out of bondage and darkness to serve Him and join His army. To be His bride, the bride of Christ. Nothing will stop what the Lord has started. Many will see even now, that He is the Lord, and He alone is God, and He is there, here, and everywhere. God is with them wherever they will go. The time of the harvest for His people is at hand. It is a time of breaking through the darkness to His light. A time of deliverance and salvation. A time for callings to be known. More people will know what they are to do for the Lord, and He will be glorified. This is His plan, and the time for fulfillment is at hand.

The Lord is sending me too. Please pray for me that I will diligently prepare for this and learn well. I want to do as the Lord has called me to do. He alone is my portion, my source, my life, and I have a strong conviction to help others find Him too. God bless you.

His Mercy Endures Forever..

A journey of time, a path hard that winds,
Through fog and darkness, and difficulty's menace,
There is One that always remains.

The Lord He never leaves or forsakes His children.
When we listen and obey, persevere with faith,
We find more and more of his mercy and grace.

In winding direction, unknown connections,
The narrow gate is not late.
He is the Way, the Truth the Life,
And that which He begins will not end.

In every situation, sadness and frustration,
Nothing is to difficult for the Lord God.

I've made mistakes, sometimes lost my way,
But Father God saved the day.

He brought me love, finances and friendship.
Salvation, shelter, finances and food.
Improving health, a changing mind, leaving confusion and fear behind.
He has not forgotten nor ever left me.
I am weak, but He is strong, and in Him, His strength I gain.

I owe my life, everything to Jesus, to my God who saves me.

This past month has been full of His grace and mercy,
Miracles, encouragement, and intimacy with Him.
I cannot forget what He has done, that in Him I am victorious and won.
The Lord who saves me and loves me so, through the Bible and experience I know.

Where is God? He is here, He is there, and everywhere.
No weapon formed against me will prosper.
I've been chosen to share His Word, to share His love with the world.
The time has come, the time of change, and we will never be the same.

His army, His purpose, His plan is set in motion, and no matter our circumstances, or personal view, what God says is done, and nothing will stand in the way.

Without Him is no peace..Know Him, know peace. Do you know Jesus? Are you sure?

Jesus said "I am the Way, the Truth, the Life. No man comes to the Father but by me." -John 14:6
It is written, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him, shall not perish, but have eternal life." -John 3:16

Come to Jesus, follow Him, and nothing will be the same. Walk in Him, walk in the Light, and you will find abundant life. He has done it for me, and He will do it for you. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

God is here within His people, the time of change is at hand.

The time is here the time is now, in this hour to see His face.
A new beginning, a new thing He does, it's here by His glory and grace.
The time of change is at hand, as He builds His army and prepares His bride.
Don't you know, don't you see, God is near with you and me.
He has brought forth this time of change. A time of proclamation, restoration is made.
He's called forth people from around the world, from hidden and unexpected places.
The time is now the time is here, and there within is many faces.
Oh it is not a phase, though it is a season, it's harvest time and for His reasons.

The time is here, the time is now, come dwell with the Lord Jesus and find out how.
Within His purpose, within His plan, the time of new beginnings is in the land.
Far and wide, and near from all sides, the time of His from within His hands.

"A new thing I do in this time, a new beginning, refreshing you will find.
Forgive, forget and dwell in Me, for the time of change is happening across the seas.
Within this hour, I send my power, within this hour is my Glory Shower.
Praise, shout, proclaim and sing! For the time of glory of the King."

God has come and sends us forth, we are the warriors and priests of the Lord.
The time of change is at hand, a time He's proclaimed and we shall stand.
His purpose too, His plan is here, it will not be broken by any spirit of the air.
No weapon formed against us will prosper, for it now is to be shown,
The authority over serpents and scorpions known.
The time is here, the time is now, the hour of His power is here and now.
We are protected by His grace, and through us, many will see His face.
The time has come, and His army is readied, for it's by His strength, nor ours that we are steadied.
Don't you see, do you feel it? Its all around and His time is now. It is time, it is done, the change to the new phase has begun.
Nothing can stop what the Lord has set forth into being, and now it is many will be seeing.
Some denied before they would, but now they will see what it is they should.
Some will fight because of pride, but into brokenness a release and change will come by His side this holy tide.
A new beginning has arisen this day, for it is time and I must say.
What is given is by God's grace and purpose, and now we will see His glory with us.
The time is now, it is His hour, His plan of reconciliation, repentance, and provision is here.
A time of change is in this hour, the army comes forth by His power.
Within this time it is seen, of all these things listed above and we will sing.
We will sing, we will march, we will praise and His glory bring, for the time is now, it's His new thing.
What was stolen by Satan is restored, and what does not belong is removed and beneath our feet we trample the prince of the power of the air.
Within our grasp is His authority, by His proclamation, He is the King of Kings.
Who is the King of Glory? It is He. He is with us and nothing will shut up what He has started.
For it is the time of bursting forth, His army, His bride, His Glory tonight.
The enemy yes they will fight, but by His power they will take flight.
We are the warriors and priests of His, and nothing will stop what from Him comes.
The time is now, and this time is His, and now see His Glory show all around.
The time is now, it will not and cannot be stopped, for He has decreed to harvest His crop.
What has begun in this time, will continue for He says "You are Mine."
Within this time comes bursting forth, His power and glory from East, West, South and North.
The time is here, the time is now, draw near to Him and see it now.
A time of grace and proclamation, a time of change throughout the nations.
For by His Name and by His power, He has called His plan forth this very hour.
The army stands, and marches forward, for the time of His calling to step onward!
Do not be afraid for it is Him, and what is for Him and by Him is bringing new strength within.
God has called you and me, many from here and overseas. We are His children for Him to please, and what He has set forth from His seeds.
The time is now, the time is here, the time of the Fear of the Lord is here.
The enemies will cower, and they will scatter for nothing can stand in the way of His blooming flowers.
As a mustard seed was small and harvests much, the time of His power is of such.
The time of His power and glory, it is now and it is here,
Proclaim to the nations His plan is here.
Nothing can stop the Lord and His ways, and now so it begins on this day.

The Lord is Raising Up An Army!!

1 Corinthians 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, 8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
9 But as it is written:

“ Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him

The Lord says "Behold I rise up an army, even from the hidden places."

In a past time the Lord had shown me a girl in white waiting on the Lord. He had shown me she is forgiven and waits patiently for the Lord.

The Lord now shows me her rising up with inner strength from Him consuming. This He had shown me for dual purposes. He has shown me that there is a person who has been waiting for the Lord patiently but the Lord kindles a fire inside and new strength and boldness. But then He showed me as she was standing there were many. Many began to stand. There was an army in white. white as in purity. Many who have been forgiven being raised up in His army to stand and fight for His purpose, for His glory. Then I saw people pulled from fire and darkness and the Lord shows me that as He rises up His army to serve Him and fight for Him and glorify Him and stand against Satan, that He even uses this army to pull people out of the fire and darkness. Even many who thought were lost are coming to Him through this army and His Holy Spirit and they will join and stand. They are coming to salvation these many across the world.

The Lord shows me that the lies that human weakness is in the way is coming clear that its not hindrance because we do this by God's strength. limitations of the mind and the world do not stand in way. The army is coming even now.

2 Corinthians 10:2 But I beg you that when I am present I may not be bold with that confidence by which I intend to be bold against some, who think of us as if we walked according to the flesh. 3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

Romans 8:

28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. 29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

God’s Everlasting Love

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written:
“ For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”[a]

37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Lord is rising up an army, and if You are in Him, you are part of this army. There is nothing of this world that can stand in His way, for He is raising up an army internationally, and there is a new revival in the nations. And as His army stands for Him and stands on His promises, His army will also recruit new members, new people will come to Jesus and the army is going to grow and it is like a mustard seed, as the tiny seed when planted, a big harvest will come. As the Lord is rising up more workers and warriors, the mighty army of the Lord is increasing worldwide and what the Lord has started, nothing can stop. The time is now! He is near and He is with us! We stand, we fight, and we proclaim the Glory of the Lord. Let Him consume us and we will not be unsatisfied. Let us march on! The time of His Glory and His mighty army is at hand!!

Made to be Filled

Made to be Filled

Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness,
And for His wonderful works to the children of men!
For He satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness.

Psalm 107:8,9
8 Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men,
9 for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.

One of life's most important insights is the understanding that we were created to be the recipients of God's glory and grace. We are vessels. We are instruments. We are personal beings to whom (and also through whom) God intends to communicate the benevolence of His own character. When we learn to see ourselves in this way -- as existing for the purpose of receiving God's goodness -- we're then able to glorify Him in a higher way than we ever could have done in the past.

There is, as the old saying goes, a God-shaped hole in our hearts that only God can fill. There is a song by Plumb which reads:

"Every point of view has another angle
And every angle has its merit
But it all comes down to faith
That's the way I see it
You can say that love is not divine and
You can say that life is not eternal
"All we have is now"
But I don't believe it
There's a God-shaped hole in all of us
And the restless soul is searching
There's a God-shaped hole in all of us
And it's a void only He can fill
Does the world seem grey with empty longing
Wearing every shade of cynical
And do you ever feel that
There is something missing?
That's my point of view..."

Philip James Bailey said it this way: "Naught but God can satisfy the soul." Most of us recognize that God is perfectly able to fulfill our needs, just because He is our Creator. What we perhaps don't recognize as well is that God is the only adequate fulfillment of our needs. Having been made for this very purpose, if our hearts are not filled with Him, we can only die. Between life and death, there is no middle way.

It marks a huge step in the growth of any person when he or she learns the truth of Jesus' statement, "It is more blessed to give than to receive" (Acts 20:35). It's also important, however, for us to see that what we're to give is that which we're intended to receive from God: His goodness. We were created not merely to be receptacles of God's grace, but channels through which that grace would be conveyed to our fellow human beings.

Paul's prayer for his Christian friends in Rome was typical of his wish for Christians everywhere else: "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit" (Romans 15:13). There is simply no higher request that we can make, at least insofar as our human needs are concerned. When we see that this is the meaning of life -- to be filled with God ourselves, and then to communicate Him to others -- we can begin to fulfill the "potential" for which we were made.

It is the goodness of God, and a desire to communicate this good,
that inspired creation. We are designed to receive God's goodness.

I guess this is a testimony.

Hello friends. Today Duisent me the following verses on msn after i asked for prayer about missions and job and mentioned my anxiety about it:

Lamentations 3:24-33

24 I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance;
therefore, I will hope in him!”

I must share something. Yesterday I went to Sunday school because I know the Lord wants to use me some way but uncertain. Saturday night i mentioned the end times and us being the salt of the earth and we have God's character because man is made in God's image, then the first woman taken from man, and we are the descendants. But that sin separates man from God and through Jesus we can have the faith and be faithful. in the sunday school they talked about re-entry after a short-term mission. almost my exact words were mentioned towards the end.. To me this confirmed God will send me on some mission. I felt strongly i shall study Thai and Mandarin and continue to spend time in the Word and wait on the Lord..

Today after talking to Dui, she gave me verses that then suddenly triggered a memory of something. I once wrote a poem to God last year or early this year and my friend Beth.. the verse Lamentations 3:26 came to her mind. To me since the poem was written for the Lord humbled to the Lord and He gave Beth that verse, then gave Dui more of it today, it is another confirmation and it is God who planned for Dui to give me those verses. God remains with us. we must listen to Him for He will speak to us much but we will hear Him the most when we are humble and listening putting our own desires etc aside. God does give the desires of our hearts anyways by seeking Him first! But as Dui says, God does not forsake us! God made two things clear to me by my words repeated to me at Sunday school and the same verse Beth gave people and myself was given to me by Dui. God does not forsake those who humble themselves before Him and are faithful to Him. and our time with Him brings stronger faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God.

Below is the note from Elisabeth and the poem I had wrote to God that God spoke to her through:

Dear Friends,

My heart was touched by this praying. A humble friend of mine.

May God bless you..

In Christ,

Beth

Pray for China and Burma

In various areas of China in the recent quake, over 12,000 people have died. In Myanmar, Burma, it seems an estimate of 100,000 have died. In each of these cases, we can see that a natural disaster does not exclude women and children, and takes all ages.

Many people in each territory do not know the Lord and horrible things are happening all over the world. In Texas and other states in the USA, there are whole cities sinking. In the USA currently there was 24 people who died in tornadoes. A while ago we know there was a horrible flood in the USA. There was a horrible natural disaster in Indonesia as well.

As Christians we must do what we can to help these suffering people, especially sharing Christ with them however possible. We must pray for the nations and salvation of many. We do not know the day or hour Christ will return and the end will come and it can be any day soon or later.

Must we sit by and enjoy ourselves and think so much about how we can be comfortable, or shall we make a difference for the Lord?

I encourage you to go to the Lord and ask Him what He wants you to do. He may say pray. He may say pray and fast. He may say "go on a mission." But I am not the Lord so what He will say to you I do not know. But I encourage you to speak to the Lord about this. So many are dying without knowing our Lord. We must take action!
